Laura Whitney is an accomplished tennis coach and founder of the Houston & South Bend Tennis Connection. She has been instrumental in successfully matching students with professional coaches in and around the Houston, Texas area since 2012. Laura’s complete immersion into tennis and genuine love of the game allowed her to achieve great success when as a junior, she earned a full tennis scholarship at Division I college, Indiana State University. Working with literally hundreds of both adult and junior players over the past 12 years, she continues her hard work and dedication full-time in the tennis industry. Laura’s favorite players on the Professional Tennis Tour are Maria Sharapova & Rafael Nadal, she is blown away by their hard work and focus, on & off the court. Laura’s enduring commitment to teaching students the mastery of the game explains her high energy and dedication to sharing winning strategies and tips that both nurture and encourage gaming up to the next level.

My name is Marisa Johnson! I am 23 years old and am a professional tennis coach. I have been playing competitively for 14 of those years, which has taught me so much mentally and physically. There are so many lessons I’ve been taught being a competitive athlete and I try to share my thoughts through these posts. I am completely in love and obsessed with tennis! I have lived a very happy and healthy life by staying active and treating my body with care mentally, physically and spiritually. I want to share all that I know!
